HABIA (International qualification)

I SARGASSI International Academy gives future hairstylists the great possibility to attend the prestigious course HABIA/I SARGASSI and obtain the international qualification for hairstylists NVQ (National Vocational Qualification).

I SARGASSI, leading brand in the hairstyle sector, has been officially allowed to grant the professional international qualifications NVQ – QFC from HABIA, Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority, the authority responsible for the definition of standards in the hairstyle sector. These qualifications are recognized by the British Government and based on the excellence of British hairdressing.

The collaboration between I SARGASSI and HABIA has been very fruitful in the last years, ensuring a one-of-a-kind training and a highly professional educational program allowing the students to enter directly into the job market.

Certificates and diplomas are awarded from the British authority VTCT, which is allowed to grant such qualifications for hairstylists in the United Kingdom and abroad. The educational program, thanks to the international recognition of NVQ, in accordance with the Italian Ministry for Economic Development, allows you to conduct your profession in a hair salon or in your own shop.

The I SARGASSI method is internationally recognized and appreciated for its simplified, winning technique in comparison with the traditional haircut techniques usually offered by other Italian hair schools. Such methods have made I SARGASSI International Academy an Italian leader in the hairstyle sector.

The HABIA program lasts 28 months and is divided in three levels with classes, theory and practice, workshops, and direct and indirect evaluations.

For each level, there is a set of books and other educational materials available for the students to help them through their study program.
The program is divided as follow:
– LEVEL 1: Hairdressing and Barbering Assistant Stylist;
– LEVEL 2: Hairdressing and Barbering Junior Stylist;
– LEVEL 3: Hairdressing and Barbering Stylist.
